The company was founded by Jaya Kumaar, a Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) FCCA professional with a total of 19+ years accounting and financial experience in Oil and Gas industry and with a Big 4 audit firm. Started career in year 2000 with KPMG before joining BP as an Accountant in year 2003, left in 2007 while leading Financial, Accounting & Control function as a Team Leader serving Malaysia and Singapore BP Group of companies. Later joined RBS & Associates as a Partner to form and lead the consulting division.
I believed that in a competitive landscape in which larger and better-known consulting firms were present, JQ RSims must carve out a distinctive identity by focusing on specialization.
Thinagaran Subramaniam is an Executive by profession with more than 18 years of global experience providing consultancy services and managing pipeline engineering and project management services in Oil & Gas industry.
His core interests revolve around helping customers to learn, understand and manage their assets mainly pipelines efficiently.
Thinagaran is a lifelong learner, pursued his studies at the University Technology of Malaysia. The University of Manchester, UK conferred on him the Master in Business Administration with Distinction.
Thinagaran started his career as Project Engineer and Operations Supervisor before taking on senior management roles on Operations, General management and Directorship with a variety of industries in different countries for several progressive large organizations before embarking upon his entrepreneurial journey. His core focus on pipeline related ventures has been the theme of his value-creation to customers and continuously made achievements and tractions in the industry.
Santhia graduated with a Degree in Accounting & Finance from Curtin University of Technology, Singapore. She is currently the Finance Manager of JQ RSims Consulting Asia Pacific and was formerly a Senior Financial Analyst. In her career crossing over 12 years, Santhia has served MNCs such as CBRE, Shell, IBM, Standard Chartered and HSBC supporting roles in finance functions for both local and Global counterparts in Singapore, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
